Sanitation and Hygiene Services and Serve as the Principal Government
Entity on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene throughout the
Republic of Liberia”
KeyFunctions:
1. Regulatory Authority
Solely responsible for the issuance of
Water Supply & Sanitation services
license,clearanceandcertiϐicate
2. Investment Engagement
Attract domestic and foreign investors to
support WASH Innitiative.
3.Sector Coordination
Develop, Promote and encourage Water,
Sanitation, and Hygiene(WASH)agenda for
health ,growth & development
4. Community Capacity Building
Strengthen local government
institution skills in Water, Sanitation&
Hygiene for sustainable livelihoods.
5. Collaboration
Ensure and enhance governance in the
WASH Sector.
6. Policy Oversight
Oversee the implementation of relevant
law and WASH policies.
